Money as we know it today is basically the number one way to purchase things. In ancient China, money was a form of currency to obtain items but trade was the main way to get items that you wanted. That is until money started to blossom up and become a very popular method of trading items. So here are three things I took away about how money became so popular in ancient China.
The Ming Dynasty is where using money became very popular: In the villages of the Ming dynasty, money became extremely popular. Like most other villages, trade was the most popular form of exchange. Money became more prevalent and became the most popular for of exchange.
The God of Wealth: Money was tied to the “God of Wealth’ and it was believed that this god would help bring financial opportunities to the people of China.
There were moral guidance calculations???: As strange as this sounds yes, there was such thing as a moral guidance calculator. The reason this was made was because people thought that money would cause greed and that it would mess up the morals of the people of ancient China. So they made moral guidance calculator to hopefully prevent that from happening.
