My Final Project Idea

Here we go, final project time. For my final project, I feel as if my choice should be very obvious. About three weeks ago I wrote about Lapis Lazuli and how I did not know about how it was real. So I want to do my final project on Lapis Lazuli! Wait, there is more. Obviously Lapis Lazuli is not enough for a final project. Why stop at just one Minecraft mineral when I can research multiple? Why not do all the minerals in Minecraft as well? Edward Schafer’s book on T’ang exotics is what sparked my curiosity on this topic. So for my final project I would like to research all the Minecraft Minerals in Schafer’s book such Lapis Lazuli, Diamonds, Gold, Silver and more. I will probably choose some other items that are in Minecraft and the book. I will choose about ten or so exotics and find additional outside sources to see how Minecraft and Chinese history are similar in terms of the minerals.
